I found this interactive seat on a design site I came across. The seat comes in three parts in which the user can decide how they want to arrange them. On the left, we see the seating arranged as a floor mat, double seat, and single seat on the top area. On the right, the seat is placed in original form as a full set. The drip adds a sense of movement to our  idea of a seat being very stationary and still.

So I was looking around online one day for shoes and I came across this label, WORN AGAIN. The philosphy of the brand is to create comfortable, eco-friendly shoes. These shoes above and made from recycled military suplus, regurgitated  rubber, old t-shirts, and denim. In addition to being made of green material,  the people who make them are paid fair prices. These shoes are really great, no matter what aspect you look at them from. I am thinking about investing in a pair myself.

These images are the work of RCA student Sara Van Gemeren. She developed a flammable paint that, when lit, burns into the surface of the wall. I find it very interesting she uses fire, and juxtaposing house walls, to create a decorative design. Beautiful work!

I don’t care what anybody says!!!! Marithe Francois Girbaud is one designer that takes shapes, cuts and content from high end labels and incorporates it into his own line of ready to wear. Most people I meet have to idea that Girbaud is more than just a label known for their baggy urban wear and screen printed XL shirts. After hearing about the brand a long time ago, I did research on Girbaud and found they were doing some pretty dynamic,euro stuff. The label loves to create interesting concepts and themes for their collections. Playing with fabric and shapes in menswear is a great way to push your typical menswear piece.

At approximately 11:00 a.m. today, a man jumped to his death from the 14th floor at the Disneyland Hotel. According to Anaheim Police Department spokesman Sgt. Rick Martinez, APD is treating this as a suicide based on what police have found so far.The man, approximately between 30 and 40, was in a south-facing room of the Wonder Tower (formerly Bonita) of the hotel, facing a parking lot. According to police, the man was in town for business. He was in the room with an adult male associate when, shortly after 11 a.m., he stepped out onto the balcony, made a statement, and jumped.

Emergency services are on scene at the hotel, and although the area is cordoned off, the scene has been visible from the balconies by hotel guests staying in the tower.

Investigators are still in process of trying to figure more out. Thats creepy, cause I was just there last night.
